为保护、宣传及销售庆尚北道蔚珍郡特产竹蟹，于2月27日至3月1日，在蔚珍郡厚浦港一带将举行“蔚珍竹蟹庆典”。今年的蔚珍竹蟹庆典将区别于其他地区，旨在宣传蔚珍竹蟹的优越性，是每年各地庆典中规模最大的。庆典将于厚浦港一心广场内举行开幕式。庆典期间活动丰富，主要有蔚珍竹蟹宣传展示馆、世界竹蟹料理比赛及展示、参观抓竹蟹、船上观日出等特别活动。体验活动则有竹蟹壳许愿、气球彩绘、制作香囊、免费试吃竹蟹和红蟹、试饮传统酒等。此外，蔚珍无污染农海产品集市、红蟹宣传销售馆、木筏拍照区、书法作品展示会、厚浦先史时代古物展示会等丰富的附带活动也不容错过。

庆尚南道陜川郡与海印寺将于2013年9月27日~11月10日共45天，在位于庆南陜川郡伽倻面的大藏经纪录文化主题公园与海印寺一带，举办渴望成为世界最棒文化庆典的‘开创未来的和谐，走向世界的相遇『2013』’，经由此活动感受高丽人的气息。 人类文明结晶的八万大藏经，快来发掘千年的灿烂世界！集结韩国人知识文化的高丽大藏经于2011年问世千年，庆南陜川以其历史意义举办了‘大藏经千年世界文化庆典’。庆典吸引了国内外233万人次游客前来观看，八万大藏经不仅代表韩国的传统文化内容，更证明了其身为21世纪文化象征而散发出绚烂文化品牌的观光商品价值。为了不负众望，并将成功庆典的成果昇华继而发展，决定在2013年举办‘大藏经世界文化庆典’。预定于2013年9月27日起至11月10日止在庆南陜川郡海印寺一带举办，庆典中会有‘2011大藏经千年世界文化庆典纪录与摄影展’、‘性澈大师诞辰100周年纪念特别展’、‘海印寺100年摄影展’等各种展览及文化表演、体验活动等。 八万大藏经是世界上最优秀历史最悠久的木板大藏经，规模、内容与形式皆获得当代东亚文明结晶的评价。高丽大藏经于1011年起至1087年止建构出初雕大藏经，而后于1251年完成八万大藏经，可视为集结高丽人240年智慧与力量的文明。8万1,350张的经板、共1,538种的佛教经典、字数5,200餘万字，动员人数一年高达130万人，规模非常浩大。八万大藏经参考北宋官板、契丹本、初雕大藏经、续藏经等，矫正错误后成为大藏经的世界标准。八万大藏经製作至今已过了750年，期间经历各种战乱与火灾等，能保存下来可以说是历史奇蹟。八万大藏经已于1962年指定为国宝32号，2007年6月登记于UNESCO世界纪录遗产内。
