益山作为一座拥有薯童神话与薯童歌谣的千年古都“百济王都”，通过薯童歌谣收获善花公主爱情，成为百济第30代王的武王怀揣统一三国的雄伟志向诞生于此。益山薯童节旨在纪念1400年前在益山出生的百济薯童(武王)与敌国新罗善花公主跨国境的爱情故事，作为一个历史文化庆典，开始于1969年，起初名为马韩民俗祭典，后在2004年更名为益山薯童节，每年举行一次。

由果川市主办，国立无形遗产院协办的2014传授教育馆活化事业「音之花阿里郎」公演，自10月25日至12月13日为止，每周六下午4点、周日下午1点于京畿板索里传授馆想像厅上演。 「音之花阿里郎」公演以阿里郎连曲与谐调的舞蹈、悦耳动听的京畿民谣、轻快且充满紧迫感的珍岛鼓舞与船歌、逗趣的场打令，为观众带来一场酣畅淋漓的表演。
